Za'atar Chicken

Recently I have been playing around with various spice blends.  I enjoy making my own spice blends and finding out what works for my taste buds.

My favorite of all of these concoctions is my homemade Za'atar spice blend.  If you are not familiar, it is a Middle Eastern inspired spice that dates back to ancient times.  It really has an amazing flavor and kick that you can't quite put your finger on at first.  It's tangy, warm and has the most interesting bite.

You will find yourself sprinkling it on salads, pasta, various meats and grilled pita breads.  The possibilities are endless.  If you are a Za'atar spice newbie, this chicken recipe will give you a nice introduction.  I promise you, this will be your new favorite spice blend!
